Encountering an oversize load out on WA’s vast regional and rural roads can be daunting even for experienced drivers. To keep people safe, Main Roads WA needed to clarify the distinct roles of Traffic Escort Wardens, Heavy Vehicle Pilots, and Transport Inspectors, and provide actionable road rules for drivers when they encounter them.
